Im on some kumhos now. They seem to be wearing really well. Got about 30 on them so far.
Daca e să nu fie ceva all season, pot să garantez pentru KUMHO ECSTA HS52, mai era și ceva variantă "Sport", dar overall am dat 800-850 de lei per 4 bucăți, 195 55 15, un tovarăș a dat vreo 1000-1200 pe ceva model sport pe 17 (cred că 205 40 17?) și chiar se țin bine. Ale lui au și lip pentru protecția jantei și se țin chiar ok. Recomand cu căldură.
Instead of mixing them look into Kumho Wintercraft Plus and get a set of 4. I just bought 215/60/16 at 100€ a tire.
They scored really good (3rd out of 50) on Autobild’s latest test and performed better than some of the big names.
Recomand kumho Solus, sunt cu 17 lei/bucată mai scumpe de 300 dar sunt bune. Fratele meu a avut pe mașina și se comportau bine pe ploaie și pe uscat iar pe zăpadă, decent.
These are EV specific tires and do include foam padding inside. After installation, I noticed an immediate improvement in road noise. What really impressed me was the improvement in road noise during city driving and driving over bumps specifically. The Kumhos were much quieter in both areas. The ride also felt immediately smoother and more refined over the Continentals. While the tires did also reduce road noise in highway driving, the difference was not as stark as the former mentioned scenarios. I think the explanation there is that the tires can only do so much; we all know how poor the pre-highland Model 3s are in terms of sound insulation.
Again as these are EV specific tires, they were created with range in mind. With the Continentals, I averaged 230wh/mi over 40,000 miles. I've since driven 1,500 miles with the Kumho tires, and I am sitting at 218wh/mi. Not a game changer but certainly an improvement nontheless.
Overall I am very pleased with the Kumho tires.
For your size 185/55R16, the best “cheap but not garbage” all-season I’ve found is the Kumho Solus TA31 they’re reliable in winter slush, quiet, and usually one of the lowest prices without feeling unsafe.
I have around 20,000km (12,000mi) on my Kumho tires 2024 hybrid 20"), they are around 60% life, but I never go down to the wear bars. So call them half gone. I'll expect to get about 26,000ish miles.
I tow semi frequently but am otherwise easy on my tires - no hard launches, no high speed hard cornering. Rotate them about every 10,000km as it works out to swap my winter wheels on.
Am acum Kumho Solus HA32+, puse vara asta. Sunt decente pentru anvelope medii.
Trenutno vozim Kumho Ecsta PS71 ljetne gume nakon što 15 godina vozim samo premium gume i moram priznati da već nakon 6000km nije ista kao prvi dan i sad znam što znači premium! Kad padne mala kišica i krenem uz brijeg, ima wheelspin... na autu sa samo 150KS i 1700kg kvragu.
Kumhos suck!
