Tires Kumho or SUMITOMO
The Sumitomo HTRs are pretty good. Either the A/S P02 or the Z III. The Z IIIs are a bit sportier, and the P02s are solid all seasons with a 500 treadwear rating and a W speed rating. They also grip impressively well for a set of fairly cheap all seasons.
I have the Kuhmo Solus TA71 on my 2011 Elantra, and so far they seem to be outstanding tires. They're extremely quiet, and have good traction in dry/wet weather. I've yet to experience that hydroplaning or slippage feeling in the rain. These tires also help out handling and steering. On-center feel is much better now.
I've bought 4 sets of Kumho tires over the last 8 years, Ecsta SPT, XS twice, and most recently v720. I don't have any complaints. All worked well for street, autox, and track use.
I just had Kumho PS91s mounted. Did a little spirited driving today. They feel good.
I have Sumitoma HTR ZIII's on my car and they work great for a street tire. I am surprised how long the rear tires are lasting.
Kumho Ecsta ASX are good a/s tires for the price.. and they have free shipping now on this tire? My experience with Kumho tires.. they are good tires, but if you drive them hard they do wear quickly.
I have a set of 205's from sumitomo on my 17x9" rear. They stretched nicely, ride good and were cheap as dirt.
Depends on where you live, etc. so far the best tire I have had, in terms of cupping, or lack thereof, are the Kumho ECSTA Platinum LX
I have 195/50R15 KU25s over 8" and compared to the same sized Falken ZE329, they don't look as good. The sidewall bulges out on the Kumhos.
i bought 2 new tires Kumho KH16 on tirerack.com... i drove the car few miles and i noticed that the car was pulling slightly to the left in city ...i drove on the highway ..same thing the car was pulling left ...if i let the steering wheel straight, the car was changing of lane.... yesterday i switched my 2 front tires side to side ...and now THE CAR IS PULLING RIGHT !!!!
