Tires LANDSAIL or GENERAL TIRE
I had Michelin before
The General tires on my IONIQ5 are silent on dry road and delivers just as good in général comparing Michelin or Toyo which I had on my car previously
I ran general gmax rs for a full season, 9 events and 6 runs a event. They did well and still got 35000 miles out of them.
I ran the gmax for a season on my genesis coupe, held up great real good feel, and still got 35000 miles out of them.
I currently have General G-Max AS-07 fitted on my Challenger. They are so far proving a good tire and handle the RWD and the car's weight well.
I would look into a set of Landsails or Advantas. Both have solid mileage warranties and are nowhere near Goodyear and Michelin prices.
Ran the General G-Max As-07 and they were a great tire but still had some slippage in rain. Went with the Michelin CrossClimate 2 to replace them and have never looked back. Better tire all around.
I can vouch for the Generals, their dry and wet traction is leagues better than the POS OEM Falkens, they're just as quiet, and treadwear is excellent. I ran 25k miles aggressively, and treadwear was minimal when I traded in my '18. I'm getting a new set of Generals tomorrow, when I take my winters off for the season.
I have personally used General GTR Thunder Max, comes under warranty and performs very well on high speeds.
I just got 4 General AltiMax RT45 installed on my 2008 Pontiac vibe. All date codes are 3523, so they are pretty fresh. Only put about 300 miles on them so far. I like them, car handles rain, had slight snow nothing crazy, and dry, drives very nice, not loud, but my issue is a *vibration* I never had before.
I bought a 2024 Ridgeline new in June 2024, and I just noticed dry rotting between the treads on all four OEM General Grabber A/T tires (date code 1424). This happened right before a long trip, and the truck has about 16k miles on it.
