Tires MICHELIN or Barum
If you're looking for an all around great summer & winter tire, I would recommend downsizing to 18" or 19" and getting the Michelin CrossClimate 2. Definitely not the best at dry acceleration or snow grip but overall an amazing tire at an affordable price.
Michelin AT 2 LT tire. Load Range E of course. I have 2022 Silverado 2500 with a truck camper on its back full time for 2.5 years. 46k miles and they still looks almost new. Great balance between on and off road.
Defender of course! I’m (Ioniq 5) in my second set of Defender. Very strong grip.
Michelin M/S2 has been my go-to highway tire for the taco
You’re use case screams Michelin Defender. Fantastic long life tire with good traction and can handle some dirt too.
BUT Michelin tends to not develop much road noise even when old.
they are LITERALLY the best (and only) tires that should go on an AMG
Crossclimate 2, especially if you get snow.
I went to 18 inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport tires hoping that it would help. Improved the ride and reduced my stress over blow outs on the 20 inch OEM tires, but didn\u2019t fix the noisy suspension.
Just replaced mine at 24k, and this was after comments from a tire shop when rotating them that they were shot at 17k. I bought a tread gauge and sure enough they were all in the red, and the inner front tires were bald.
