Tires MICHELIN or Continental
I'm a Conti guy, they're on both our cars. Premium brand, never let me down. I've run Kumhos in the past and they were good for the price.
The best tire by far is Continental. No question. The Kumho is the only one I would even think of putting on a car.
Great experience. Ride is a little quieter, Michelins are great on snow and ice, no perceptible change in range for me at least. Almost 2k total after certs that’s the only thing I don’t like. 31k miles on the pirellis about 5k in on the new Michelins. I drive a gen1 R1T quad.
Continental > Kumho > Road Hugger > Sentury
but tbh michelin is the top brand for a reason, i’ve seen them last for literally 100k miles
Thanks for all the advice guys, went ahead and ordered the Continental ECS 02s, fingers crossed I’m happy with them. My biggest issue with my RS4s is that it takes about 2 runs on my favorite backroad to get enough heat in them to really stick and I don’t push my car on public roads like I used to. If I get the added benefit of making my car more daily-able that’s not a bad thing either.
Michelins all day! Just a good tire ran them on my hayabusa an my CBR. I’ve actually ran all 3 the pirelli did well but wear was not very good. Anther thing push them hard an didn’t feel like there was any warning before that let go, Dunlop was pretty good but I felt like took them a while to get warmed up? Wear waster pretty good though.
Michelin x-ice snow. Never had an issue with them in icy, snowy conditions
Everybody's complaining that they roll like shit. I'm sorry, is this the aero weight weenie sub or the fixie sub? The solution is stronger legs!
I always ride bulletproof tires like these (usually Continental or Schwalbe) around Brooklyn, because otherwise I'd have to change a flat once a month. Waste of time and money.
The rear chews through the Michelin PS4 tires. I replaced them with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.
