Tires MICHELIN or Firestone
I swap wheels/tires twice a year running summers on the stock wheels and winter Michelin snow/ice on 17 basic black wheels. Car handles snow in New England like a dream.
Alpin 5s are awesome. Never an issue in as much as 4-6" of snow.
If you have issues with your current tires, consider getting a all weather tire like CrossClimate 2s.
the Ariya the best upgrade over the mediocre factory tires is the Michelin CrossClimate 2 (EV-friendly sizes) they handle the weight and torque way better, ride quieter, and you’ll notice way less range drop compared to cheaper options.
I ran Alpin 4s and 5s on my F80. Upstate NY, drove through some pretty sketchy road conditions completely fine
I used Michelins X-Ice snow tires on my F80. Highly recommended.
Only have experience with the Michelins but i will say they had great performance throughout the life of the tire
I went Michelin AS4, and they hold their performance at a big temp and condition range
They'll suck on hard packed snow and ice and anybody who says they are the equivalent to a snow tire is dead wrong. But don't take that as they are bad, they are still good, just not what people hype them up to be during the winter.
I won\u2019t buy X-Ice anymore, both myself and my friend had a sidewall blow out on them.
