Tires MICHELIN or Hankook
i had them on my A6. I thought they were pretty good. would buy again.
I used to run them on my S60R and really liked them. For the price they were decent. Not quite as quiet or grippy as some more expensive tires, but they've been my go-to for "slightly cheaper" tires for a while.
I literally just put these on my 2016 Kia Soul and have not noticed any difference in road noise or loudness. I find the ride just as comfortable or more than the Kumho Solus stock tires they replaced. They are quiet and the grip I get gives me great confidence so far driving on dry and pouring rain this past week in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend the new Michelin’s at least in initial quality with less than 100 miles on.
I ordered some 235/55/17 Michelin X-ice tires since Discount Tire was having a sale on Michelins.
I really like Michelin tires. Their wild enduro tires have more highspeed and cornering grip than anything else that I've tested.
I just put the a/s 4s on my turbo. They’re perfect so far, no noisier than the stock tires. Car handles even better now, and I loved how it handled off the lot.
Get rid of the subpar tires. A Michelin climate-cross plus tire would make your car shine.
why not try out the new michelin pilot sport all season 4. They are not as sporty as as3+ but the ride is much much better. For the sporty asaspect if as3+ is a 10/10 then as4 is 9.3/10. I just put them on it feels good driving it.
My 2017 Beetle S came with the tires specified immediately below...Hankook Kinergy GT...Originally, tire wear appeared to be proceeding well...After the 16,000 mile service...I noticed the centers of two tires...to have lost the siping \u2013 classic over-inflation indicator...Recently at 19,000 miles I noted the front tires...had lost the center siping \u2013 again signifying over-inflation...I am not particularly surprised at the center wear as I think a load index of 95 is fairly high for this vehicle...I cannot imagine 60,000 miles for these tires.
All weathers weren't worth it in my case, I'm not hard on my tires at all and I logged 35-45k On the ones I bought last year and they are already at 2/32'nds. I went back to all seasons this year, due to I'd rather get the 80,000km's with the Michelins I bought. Nor did I really notice a difference in traction/handling between All Weathers and All Seasons.
