Tires MICHELIN or Hankook
I've driven the F80 M3 on these, and they were fantastic. I had the factory Conti SportContacts on my E90, and then switched to the PSS tires, and it was night and day. For daily driving in temperate climates, there's no better tire than the P4S at the moment.
I just put a set on my S6 replacing the factory Pirelli's. the Pirelli's were garbage and lasted a whopping 16K miles. The road noise from the Michelin is way quieter and the grip is much better especially on initial turn-in.
Buy the Michelins ASAP. You'll be surprised at how much of a difference you will feel and hear.
Very happy with my X-Ice.
I have Michelin X-Ice 3 s on both a Dodge truck and a Hyundai Accent. They work excellently, although I noticed on the Accent they are not a great rain tire.
I only run Michelins on everything I drive, I've never had issues with the tires, and I figure if the cost of michelins saves me an accident, then they have paid for themselves
Between all of the vehicles I maintain I only run Michelin X-Ice 3 or Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires for winters. Worth every penny.
For comparison, the tires I use on my bike are Michelin Road 5, which seem to be in sale right now for $180 in my size and last around 8k miles
I'm about to purchase a 2014 class A that has about 51k miles..original Michelin XZA3 date code 3813 so about 5 years old they look in really good shape although I'm getting an independent inspection on Wed.
My newish Michelin Defenders did that.
