Tires MICHELIN or Hankook
Im using michelin pilot alpin 5 on my e91 not awd. I also use weight on the back of the car for more grip. Im living on the mountain between italy and austria. No other tire work Better in my opinion.
I bought Michelin Cross climate 2 tires 3 years ago and they solved all my traction problems.
Yea any E rated tire is going to suffer on ride quality. I’ve settled on Michelin Defender ms2s. They come in a 275/65/20 - 34.1” P rated tire. Gives me the taller stance I like but are not an aggressive looking tire. Ride quality is fantastic.
Michelins all year round for me in Kent UK. It’s great.
Michelin pilot sport 4s are a step above the nt555
I've ran PS4's in Cali too, I think they're worth the price. Ever since I switched to Hankook all-seasons, I miss the PS4's every day.
eu am avut Hankook kynergy 4s fara probleme pe zapada.
Michelen X-ice for my XC60. Now I crunch everywhere I go but necessary in this environment.
I have the Michelin Pilot Sport All-season 4s which is the primary competitor to this tire and they’re completely useless in the snow on my 06. Great cold and wet weather tire but if you frequently need to drive in snow then get a proper winter tire.
I have the stock Hankook Ventus S1 evo2's in 245/35ZR19 on my 2023 A4. When I test drove the car I noticed a slight pull to the right, requiring slight but steady left steering input. This spring when I swapped back to the summers I noticed the right pull again. Over time the issue has remained, and I've noticed bad tramlining all the time. I feel like I'm constantly fighting the steering on most roads. Also, I highway commute to work and have noticed these tires hydroplane badly in the wet. Because of this I'm planning to get different summer tires next spring.
