Tires MICHELIN or OEM Subaru
Only change I have made is putting on Michelin Pilot 4 all weather tires 235/40/19s on the stock wheels. A little more sidewall for a better ride and no problem with rubbing. My only gripe is the turbo lag but once it kicks in it does just fine.
I love my CC2s, got them in December and have had them on my wife’s MDX for 3 years. The wet performance is very impressive.
We put the CC2’s on it’s so much better than the stock. In the north east for the winters and it has been great in the snow this season. Road noise is fine and ride comfort is fine, but noticeably better in all aspects
Michelin—always worth the $$…keeps braking/traction through wear pattern better than any other tire
The Corvette school at NCM Motorsport Park swaps out their Z51s to the AS4 Michelins after the stock PS4s wear out for their fleet. They claim they perform well and my experience in 20 minutes of very spirited lapping they did great, I wasn’t limited by traction issues at all.
Love the tires so far, but can I expect to immediately destroy these on track too? Any possibility of taking it easier and leaving a track day with plenty of tread and not chunked up tires?
I bought 4 Michelin 235-70-16’s for my SUV in 2021. $995.
Michelin Power Cup. I'm very happy with them
I have them on my Lexus ES300h and drove with them coast-to-coast across the entirety of Canada in the dead of winter, then back again in the summer. I found them to be really great performers in winter, even in nearly tire-high snow, and I never had a moment where I was worried about slipping or sliding, even through the Rockies in white-out conditions. HOWEVER... I find them to be too noisy in the summer. I can see the fuel efficiency drop on road trips in the summer as well, and I'm not sure I'd run them year-round again knowing what I know now.
No these tires are absolutely terrible!! DO NOT USE THESE TIRES!!! They will bust and cause you to wreck randomly even with full complete tread.
