Tires Nexen or Firestone
I have only used their previous version, Winguard Sports. Can't complain about them. They are a performance winter, so snow and ice won't be as good as a Xice Xi3, blizzak ws-80 or Hakkapeliitta tire
I've only used the original winguard sports. Can't complain for the price and it's purpose. They never let me down in a blizzard...
shitty frs prius tires to firestone firehawk indy 500s
215 to 245
Went from oh my god what the fuck is this to oh my god it's like I'm getting gripped by a large african man and^it^feels^amazing
People are really enjoying the [Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s](https://www.firestonetire.com/tire/firehawk-indy-500). He friend got a set for his ms3 and likes them.
I had a set of those in 31x10.5x15. I really liked them. I kept the pressures around 25-27 psi had them for almost 30k miles.
Once I moved up to Firestone Winterforce, and Winterforce 2 the next year, I was always confident I could keep control in any amount of random mess.
I recently got Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 and they are great especially for $79 per tire.
Tires: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 225/45/R18. Basically rebranded Bridgestone Potenza RE003 for North America.
I've sold a ton of Nexen tires and used them on all my loaner cars. I never buy the N5000's though. I stick to the Classe Premier line so CP641 and CP672 tires. I use them on my mother in law's Jetta and I have the Nexen Rodian HP on my Wife's MB R350. Decent tires. Not the best but for the price, they work very well.
Those tires are Nexen N7000's. A few of my cheap clients ran those and N3000's on their cars, years ago, I'd say late 2000 early 2010's. Cracked sidewalls, deformed tires, bubbles in the sidewall, and ridiculous amounts of road noise after a season of use, poor grip in pretty much anything except hot dry asphalt. I hope you have better luck with them than some of my clients.
