Tires Nexen or GISLAVED
I run these on my R in the winter in 235/40r18. They do fine in midwest winters. Handled about 4-5 inches of snow, some slush, some freezing rain/ice. No complaints from me for the price
I have run them for the last 2 winters and they are great. Quiet, good handling and decent traction.
OEM Nexen on my Hyundai. Surprisingly great tires. I had always been a Michelin guy, but when the time comes I might get another set of Nexens, especially seeing their price.
I've been running a set for 3+ years now. City driving of 40km daily. Tread is still good and road noise is non existent.
Nexen is good and reasonably priced.
I ran nexen Sport R, they’re a tick off pace of the hot 200tw (RE71RS, CRSv2, A052) but they’re super consistent across a 30 minute lapping session and I was getting 5-6 days out of a set.
I recommend Nexen. They are good quality Korean brand. My Kia Cerato has them.
They aren't top tier but they aren't completely garbage either. Good tire if you're not trying to break the bank
Hello. I bought Nexen N'Fera Primus summer tyres for my and my brother's cars. My experience was ok, but my brother had a problem when one wheel just blew at a speed of 70 km/h. I sent the tire to the dealer. They answered it was hit and denied replacing the tyre. Unfortunately, the wheel was dirty because the car, after the tire was blowing, got to a gutter. But the blew part of the tyre was clear and you can see that rubber was damaged from inside. Tyre side is very soft. Poor tyres and poor service. Not recommend it.
Horrible tires. I have had 2 side wall blow outs with these tires, one on a very busy highway, late at night and almost got unto a horrible accident. Avoid these tires at all cost.
