Tires NITTO or Firestone
They were used for about 6 months, but I swapped back to the stock 17' classix OEM wheels as I was street parking in a city, wanted a more comfortable ride, and wanted cheaper tire replacements .
I’ve put Weathergrips on three vehicles, and I’ll continue to put them on vehicles if I have to. Phenomenal winter performance (in Southern Ontario) and absolutely brilliant in the wet. Zero hydroplaning. In the summer, I air them up a few pounds over the car manufacturer spec and they respond quite nicely.
Not a Subaru owner :( but I run Firestones xt destination on my yoda and truck. I’ve had Toyo open country’s and wild peaks on my truck and I honestly like the Firestone’s better for everyday use light off roading and styling.
Firestone Indy 500’s are a cheaper option that gives similar grip to continental extreme contact sports. They are just horrendous in the rain
I've had both. I prefer the Ridge Grapplers because I'm more interested in offroad performance, but had no issues with the terra grapplers and they were much cheaper.
I have Ridge Grapplers on my Tacoma and 4Runner and haven’t had any issues with them. Do great in the snow and quiet for daily driving.
I’ve actually had both and much prefer the RG. I’m on my second set. It’s more aggressive yet surprisingly quiet.
I have the nittos NT555 G2s on my mustang and they have lasted about 30k miles. But I wouldn't call them ultra high performance by any stretch of the word.
Have ridge grapplers on my work truck and I don’t like them. There isn’t a lot of sipping grooves so they aren’t great in anything sloppy like wet snow or mud
I had them on my 2013 GT. They did not hook up well, and I was stock. They were also noisy. I’d choose something else.
