I am quite happy with my nitto neo gens for price to performance, and life.
Nothing too crazy, but it's perfect for me without sacrificing any driveability, these tires actually make it smoother and quieter.

I'm running Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Look cool, great off road capability, tow well. Heavy as all hell, lost two mpg!
Reason I'm asking is I'm running Nitto NeoGens 280tw (205/50/15) on a fairly light, low horsepower car (D15B7 Del Sol). I've had alignments done, check my air pressure every other time I get gas (35psi) and I'm at the wear bars in 12k miles.
Nitto Terra Grappler. Bigest pos tire I've ever owned. Only thing good about it was decent mpgs. It would hydroplain just by looking at it.
Worst tire is NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER. I hate them.
They suck in the rain, they suck in the snow, I don't recommend them.
