Tires NITTO or Vredestein
Also running Vredestein Quatrac Pro in a wet state that gets some snow too. Excellent all-rounder.
I am running Vredestein Quatrac Pro. Super comfy ride but still pretty sporty for a all-season tire. I would not hesitate to buy another set of Vredestein tires, all seasons or not!
I was averaging 17.2 with my previous nitto ridge grapplers.
These are nitto neo gens correct? I have a set for my 98 civic I run in the summer my cars curb weight is only 2500 lbs and I don’t have a problem doing 120-130 km/h (75-81 mph) in the rain
Replaced factory Continental tires with Vredestein Quatrac Pros, which are infinitely better.
I use those exact tires. Unless you’re doing something crazy, they’re really good. I’ve driven them in horrible winter weather to very rainy summer days on the autobahn. They’re the best I’ve ever had.
If you don’t need to run in the rain at all I can’t say enough good things about the NT-01s and their speed/longevity ratio and fantastic feel.
I opted for the Nitto Nomad Grapplers myself!
I have the nitto 555R2 radial, and STILL spin from a street dig, but overall they handle well while mostly having traction.
Have ridge grapplers on my work truck and I don’t like them. There isn’t a lot of sipping grooves so they aren’t great in anything sloppy like wet snow or mud
