I run the Nokian Nordmans (without studs) on my 24 XL Hybrid here on the coast of Maine. Last winter my MPG did drop a bit, probably by 2-3 miles. The peace of mind is worth the mileage.

Id run em for sure those dont appear to have any dry rot or cracks in em and they are a wickedly good winter tire i had a set of hakkapelitas that were 12 years old last winter and they still rocked. Not as good as brand new but for 400 bucks of our canadian funny money you are still doin alright there.
I changed my dads nokians for the first time. He always went to the dealership before. It's a 2015 4runner he bought new, and put new nokians on that winter. The nokians are from 2013. And they are still soft and not a hint of dry rot. The 4runner is garage kept, as are the tires. People here will lose their brains, but they are in much better shape than my 4 year old Continental winter tires.

Get some Nokian tires, I am super happy with mine (piggfri) as it's a rear wheel drive, and we like to get sideways. But the grip is amazing, love these tires. Kost about 7 000kr for a complete set. And it is worth it.
If its one thing to NEVER be stingy on, is winter tires, especially in Norway. I've never even heard about these tier makers and I find it sus. Go for nokian hakkapeliitta, it's a brand driven and tested in nordic countries for decades. More pricy? Yes, definitely, quality is high and they know their stuff. But sure, buy some cheap made Chinese made tiers that will be worn out by the end of the year and probably serve you shit to nothing in terms of safety when its needed.
Check finn if better tires are to expensive for you. I just bought a set of 2 year old Nokian studded for 2000kr. Just stay away from cheap tires all together and don't buy used tires older than 4 year old unless you know what you're getting.
i just purchased these tires a few weeks ago for my 2021 nissan rogue. they drive fine. they’re as quiet as my old ones, but maybe a little bumpier. the one thing that i noticed the most though was the drop in my fuel efficiency.
i purchased 4 nokia tires in july of 2024. by june of 2025 the tires are completely bald. i bought a good tire rated to 80,000 miles and have them rotated and balanced every other oil change. in my entire life i never seen a tire wear down so fast.
