I drive winters in Alberta Canada, on the mountain side, mostly. I have a 23 full size and have never had better performance in winter conditions. Same with mud - we like bus camping. Mine is on Sailun A/T tires, bought it that way. I’ll definitely be seeking these tires out when it’s time to replace.

Why? Amazing grip on dry roads, excellent hydroplaning prevention technology and a snowflake for winter driving when snow tires are not necessary. They are quiet too.
I use all season Nokian Seasonproof 2 for driving around Europe. This year it was quite a harsh winter in Poland and I couldn't be happier with their performance.
*Nokian Hakkapeliitta are amazing tires. Have never had any issues with these. The noise isn't too bad and the rubber is still in great shape. Now saying this, this is the last year i can use them according to the internet. Still look almost new, bought 8 years ago, store inside during the summer. Again still in amazing shape, and honestly the best snow tire ive ever had. The longevity on these is absurd.*
Get yourself a brand new set of nokian hekkopolita 10 studded winter tires.
Slap on a set of studded Nokian Hakkapelitta 10s.... Nothing will stop you
The R01 is super slippery, though it can work to your advantage for whipping the car around cones. It can work well as a daily tire that you can use for autocross.
Last year I used the factory AT 20s. Traction in snow was ok, but lateral control was absolute garbage. I didn’t feel confident at all.
