All tires in the test were sized 225/40R18. All tires were tested using an Audi A3 3.2 on a closed test course. This data was combined with results from independent tread-wear testing which evaluated tread wear up to 12,000 miles. The Nitto Neo Gen had a strong showing in all tests. The Neo Gen received a ranking of Very Good in both dry and wet braking and Good in both dry and wet handling and hydroplaning. The Neo Gen also received high marks for noise, ride comfort and rolling resistance, scoring Very Good for all categories. The Neo Gen was also one of the most affordable tires tested. Because of the Neo Gen's balance of dry and wet performance, and ride comfort, the editors recommended it as one of their top picks.
I have this tire from discount and so far I've been really impressed. Good ride, quiet, and its done everything I've asked performance wise.
I have Nitto 555's and I love them. Best tires I've ever owned.
I had Nitto NeoGen's on my Volvo s40 and I loved them. They kept tread for almost 2 years and were sticky on dry roads. Not bad in wet either.
I am running Nitto 555's 235-35-19 I like them...Good traction wet or dry IMO.
I had a set of nitto's on my mk3 gti vr6.they were a great tire.
neogens are great i had a set on my is300 handle very good,softer sidewall compared to your bridgestones but noise extremely low,because of the softer sidewall handling might suffer a tad ,you might not notice it though.tire wear is awesome if you are lowered.inner treadpattern is designed for lowered cars to reduce wear.
i had some nt555 on my last car....... great tire....... but horrible wet traction
Neo Gens are just that bad. I have a pair on the back of my wagon and they make the front kumho le sports feel like track rubber. Instant oversteer on demand especially in the wet.
Have nitto neogen on now and do not like them. Pirelli , bridgestone Potenzas, nitto invos and michelin pilot ss on my previous cars. I will stick with michelin on the next purchase.
