Tires Pirelli or Continental
Continental DWS06 are hands down my favorite all season tire. I have lived in PA, FL and NC and it's always my go to choice for an all season tire. Super quiet.. last forever and grippy.. what else can you ask for?
Well i went from 18s to 17s last winter... Originally i bought a set of Pirelli Sottozero3 225/40/18 on 18x7.5 wheels (might have been x8 i cant remember). The traction in cold was unreal and amazing, the price was not.
I had Pirelli p6000 for my 1st gen Clio 1.8, I loved them, I knew about the fact they last not as long, but I loved having so much grip.
Not because of F1, but when I bought full winter rims/tires I had Scorpion Ice & Snow for my X5M. They worked very well actually, and with the combination of the vehicle and those tires I never had any issues in the snow
M3 Non Snow: BFGoodrich gForce Comp 2...M3 Snow: Continental WinterContact Si (very, very happy with these over years of being a Blizzak driver)...Wagon Non Snow: Continental ExtremeContact DWS (very happy so far)
The DWS06 has been a phenomenal all season tire for me...These Contis have proven well worth it, as even with a FWD car, I'm able to drive on snow with minimal slippage.
I have a set, they are pretty good. for a 320 TW tire, the grip is awesome, and should last a lot longer than the OEM Pirellis. These tires are much better at the track (turning) not so much at the quarter.
Continental ExtremeContact Sport, 225/40/18
These are the tires this car should have come with from the factory. They are smoother, quieter, and (obviously) grippier than the OEM A/S tires in dry and wet conditions.
The tread life on the Conti DW left me wanting too.
Conti Motions might be the worst tire I have ever felt on any supersport ever.
