Tires Pirelli or Continental
People said these tires handle like garbage. I was skeptical—and yeah, they’re a bit squishy at first—but honestly, unless you’re trying to turn your grocery run into a Formula 1 race, they’re actually decent. The family has stopped complaining, which is a miracle; these tires actually soften the blow of our awful roads. Range is about the same, but the noise? Night and day. Old Contis were basically a marching band on wheels; now it’s quiet enough to enjoy the ride without wanting earplugs.
They have been fantastic, drove through huge rain storms and never felt unsafe once
Just got these to replace my OEM contis that lasted 40k miles. So far I’m loving the SRS+.
Just spent early winter in Vermont with tons of snow and my '24 cross sport. I used snow mode just to be sure but I had no problems whatsoever. I should mention, however, that I put Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractives on mine in November 2024 for that years' Vermont trip. Those tires and the Atlas Cross Sport is definitely the best handling I have ever had in snow. I drove 600 miles across the northeast in a winter storm without fear if that helps.
I live in Hungary and i went for the Pirelli sf3 in September and so far is perfect.
I’ve used Continental (very good), Hankook (good), Goodyear (good - worse handling in summer than Conti but excellent in winter, higher wear).
oh and for the love of god, get rid of the stock Pirelli and get some Michelin which have more robust rubber.
Got a this set of GP5000 28mm last year and have not many miles on them, maybe 300-400 mi. total. Shame to see this sidewall fail so quick, is it a fluke? What could have caused it?
Meine Ganzjahresreifen habe ich nach der ersten Schneeflocke gegen Winterreifen getauscht, Auto war unfahrbar (und sogar für gut befundene Continental). Nie wieder Ganzjahresreifen.
My Pirelli Scorpions lasted 10,500mi. I bought Michelins. I sure hope they last longer
