Tires Pirelli or IRONMAN
An ultra-high-performance all-season tire, the iMove Gen 3 A/S from Ironman is designed for use on sport and performance-oriented coupes and sedans. Built with large shoulders that improve cornering and handling, the iMove Gen 3 A/S features an all-season rubber compound that allows for solid traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions.
I have blizzaks ws90 on my car. Excellent tires for the winter. Pirelli ice zero fr are also amazing
Before my 22 Tiguan SE R Line died from oil issues I put 4 new Pirelli AS Plus 3 tires from Mavis Tire. I liked the tires for the time I had them before October when I got rid of the car.
Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 has been fantastic on my Tiguan as well as my CX5
My Pirelli Scorpios lasted 75k miles. Best tires I ever had. Bought second set
My opinion, Pirelli was at one time a very good brand if you were looking for a performance tire, in recent years though it seems that they have become complacent and aren't really trying to innovate and as such have become a mediocre tire company at best. But for a decent low cost tire, Kumho is a fair bet.
The current AS3 Pirelli? I'd say it's better than the AS4, which honestly wasn't great in the rain for me. I prefer PS4s to the AS4 for rain. Honestly, my Hankook RS4 aren't any worse than the AS4 in rain.
My audi came with the Pirelli's and they stink in the winter. Replaced with Michelin and it was a huge difference.
The Verdes came stock on my xc90 and they were terrible in inclement weather. It was a total game changer in the rain and snow once I upgraded to the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 based on a recommendation from a friend.
They are pretty mid and suck in snow. I had a loaner XC60 this weekend and took it up into the mountains and it felt downright dangerous.
