Tires Sailun or GT Radial
I had Sailun tires on our ice car before we sold it. They were fine, no issues, and price was good.
I’ve driven about 300 miles now in good weather so far. Tires ride nice, maybe not quite as smooth and quiet as the continentals but they don’t have the foam inserts either. 45k warranty as well which means I hope to get maybe 20k?
I have sailun eco range tires on my model 3 performance. They were I think. 860 installed for 4. Maybe less.
As a tire technician I’d suggest going with a set of sailun ice blazers
I put a set of the new Sailun e-tires on my M3. It's a new tire for this Chinese brand made specifically for EV's and their weight. Price is right, they are quiet on the highways.
I bought them last year for my Nissan and they have been really good. Very grippy, low noise and smooth. The compound feels to be on the softer side but haven't seen excessive wear yet.
About to swap out the winter tires that came on the ‘19 tiguan I bought for the wife/hauling kids…. They’re sailun winter blazers….. seem like a great tire and from what I read when confirming they’re in fact winter tires seems they’re one of the best value winter tires so the brands probably not too bad.
Gt radial is definitely a cheap option, but I would say they perform decently for the price.
The socal 86 cup is sponsored by them, so they've all I've ever used. They're more like 260tw. But I got 245 r40 17 for like $80 each. They're not the best, but they're the best for the money.
I dont know about the lighter duty tires but I had some of their heavier duty tires on an older ford f250 that wasnt used super often and all 4 tires had belts break within a few months of each other. They were between 2 and 3 years old
