Tires Sava or OEM FORD
sava uhp2. imao je u 225/40/18 i sad u 235/45/18 i dobar su omjer cijene i izdržljivosti. mozda je malo meksa guma pa se vise trosi, ali nisam primijetio da se klize ili tako nesto
I did it last winter (edit I may have had 245/60/r18, so taller tire but not wider). They fit, but you definitely cant go any bigger. Minimal clearance of shocks on the front wheels plenty of space at the back. Probably threw off the speedometer a bit, did slightly raise the vehicle.
Buy Sava Eskimo winter tires and you are good to go anywhere
In my opinion the named brandes like continental, Michelin, good year are good but over priced. I Mostly run SAVA, dont know if you know the brand but they are Quite good for the price. I run them on Volkswagen golf 4 (195/16/55) and on Volkswagen passat (225/17/xx)
I've had my '22 FWD XLT since last June. I regularly get 36+ in summer, but only 30 in (MN) winter with snow tires.
I have EB AWD and haven't changed out factory tires. In southern MN live off 3 miles of dirt roads. Winter has kinda nailed us this year. Maverick handled it all like a champ.
I have the hybrid lariat and I got a set of snow tires on steelies. I have driven through slushy freezing rain/snow this winter and it didn't slide around at all.
I’ve lived in northern Colorado my whole driving life and I think the mav handles great. I still have the stock tires on and while I do drive very carefully when it’s snowy I have had almost no slipping/sliding
I liked the handling but the OEM tires were trash (as they often are). Luckily I ran over some road debris that caused to get a new set of tires anyway. Once that was sorted out it is pretty entertaining.
The last vehicle I had it happen to was on my 2002 Ford Sport Trac. The tires on my Sport Trac only had 24,000 miles on them when they began cupping. I could not stand the noise from these tires, which I eventually put on the rear so that at least I couldn't feel it in my steering.
