I switched the Kumho Crugens that came with my 2022 Santa Cruz SEL nonturbo with activity to BF Goodrich Trail Terrain, still at 245/60r18 about 2 weeks ago. The Trail Terrain is a lot more quiet, in fact, I can hear the hum of the engine much clearer now. Great in mild snow and ice, never slipped. It also performed very well in the rain and a little puddle, no hydroplaning so far. Cornering is not at good as the Crugen and needed a bit of correction. The ride is almost as comfy as the Crugen, but I can feel the little road imperfections subtly. I averaged 26.8 mpg on the Crugen, the Trail Terrain set me back a dismal 23.9 mpg.
Toyo C1Rs. Currently using on my Jazz. No complains. Solid tire in the dry and wet.
Uy the toyo I tried some off brand at tires some black lions. They made it about 5-7k miles and we're wore out I go the toyo at for like 30$ more a tire and they lasted me like 35k miles
I have bf Goodrich GeForce comp 2 and they are fantastic in the rain. Not sure if they sell a size to fit the stock wheel but 205 45 16 only rubs on hard corners downhill and it’s lowered in coilovers
I have about a year on mine and to me they feel ultra quiet after driving around on the stock Toyos for the first 30k miles… and the ride is really smooth and responsive in hard rain (SoCal)
I have them on my CX-5 and I love them, much better ride than the shitty Toyos -- but they are definitely a bit louder.
They are a touch louder than the stock toyos on my cx5 but the performance easily makes it worth it to me
I had K02s on my 1st gen Tundra and they were Ok. I got them the last two times because they were a fair price and decent tire... I thought the KO2s were fine but a couple of mechanics said they would put them on such a light truck. They did ride stiffer and you felt every bump a lil more.
Mine came with Toyos as well. They lasted until about 30k. By then they were pretty much junk.
15,000 KM after three blowouts. Changed them for some Toyo proxes tm1 225/45R18. So far so good, the ride feels way smoother and I don’t feel like I lost fuel economy.
