Tires Toyo or BFGoodrich
Had ko2s for a good 40k miles before I had to get a new set. Love em.
I have KO2’s and love them!
Bought my wife the Toyo open country AT3’s and we love them, give it a look. We have a lot of mud here in South Georgia and it’s worked great
KO2 have been flawless.
KO2s are on mine and they’re awesome! look better from the side too
Had both. Now running Toyo Open Country AT3. Best on wet compared to all three. Snow, sand and mud is all about the same.
I, also, have the KO2's after having KO's. I have been quite happy with them and they have been better in snow (when we manage to get any snow) so that is a plus for me. They have done well on dirt and slickrock so if you are doing a variety of driving they will serve you well.
I've had my new CX-5 Signature for 2 weeks. When I drove it home, and then for the next day or so, the ride was very rough. It wasn't what I thought I'd bought. I then checked tire pressures - all were at 50 psi. Evidently either the prep guys filled them that high, or they didn't reduce them to the sticker-recommended 35 psi. After setting them at the recommended pressure, the ride is great.
I had two sets on two trucks, loved them for the first 10k miles and after that they pulled to the right all the time and were quite loud. Getting alignments done didn’t help it pulling to the right and as soon as I got different tires the pull went away.
I've had some serious issues with the KO2s and balancing them. Even with all tires requiring less than 10# of road force to balance the 4Runner still shakes like crazy between 45 and 60. I've been through 8x 265/70R17, and 12x 285/70R17 on my 2012. I'm never buying them again.
Now offroad, they are amazing. Been through quite a bit of stuff that I didn't think we could make it through and never had any issues.
