Loved the Toyos
I like my General Grabbers personally but I do about 5% off roading in CO on difficult trails. Got a full 48k miles off the last pair and I do a lot of road driving too so was impressed
I’m on my second set of Toyo AT3s. They’ve worked great for me.
I got my set of Toyo AT IIIs on and balanced for 1100 without a spare I love them seems like its a good deal on them but I bought them 70% bc they look good so its not very compelling
I am loving my Toyo open country AT3 EVs. Wearing great after 7k miles and .25 mi/kwh range improvement.
Look at maybe Nexen or General for a cheaper alternative that is more reliable.
If you want a solid, inexpensive replacement that won’t break the bank, the General Altimax RT45 is a great all-season option and runs about $131 each at Discounted Wheel Warehouse, which is a nice step up in safety without spending Michelin money.
I went through first winter in Toronto with the stock Toyos since I got the car right before winter and it handled snow like a piece of cake and I didn’t feel like I would ever get stuck. You’d have to replace them early anyway, they don’t last much.
Those Toyos are loud as hell above ~45mph.
Had toyo on my Nissan Maxima. They came when I bought the car new back in 07 the worst tires I ever owned, after less then a year slow leaks on one tire then another tire, wore very fast and just never liked their performance
