I’m on my second set of Toyo AT3s. They’ve worked great for me.
I got my set of Toyo AT IIIs on and balanced for 1100 without a spare I love them seems like its a good deal on them but I bought them 70% bc they look good so its not very compelling
I am loving my Toyo open country AT3 EVs. Wearing great after 7k miles and .25 mi/kwh range improvement.
I slid twice on the original when it was raining and the tires still had good tread on it. I got a set of Toyo Proxes A/S around 45,000 miles and they feel great.
Some light tires like the Kenda Small Block 8. A small knobby tire that works great on the street.
Stock Toyo tire on '20 Mazda3 w/ the low profile tires was prone to sidewall bulging when it encountered potholes. Haven't had an issue after switching to bfgoodrich. Otherwise, nothing.
For example the K193 Tires were made to be super puncture resistant at a higher PSI than the first K Series(100PSI) but due to budgeting, they had to sacrifice handling, and also some rolling resistance, they do roll nice but not the best, they handle like crap, and aren’t not safe in the rain despite being advertised as such..lol… they also wear like iron, after 8,000 miles i still have life left them in and never had any puncture issues compared to other tires.
I ran an F Toyo MT in the same size on a '17 Duramax SRW. My camper is MUCH heavier than your popup so my tire life was in the 30k km range. I wouldnt say the Toyos held up much better than the tires that are 1/3rs the price, but they are a durable and refined product. Ive burned through a half dozen sets of Toyo MT and never had an issue with them.
I have them on my 5.0 whipple and they do not grip the road. I live in south Florida andvin the rain my truck is all over the place. They look great and im sure they are good off road but definitely not on the hot payment with a little HP behind them.
Those Toyos are loud as hell above ~45mph.
