Tires Toyo or NITTO
I had a set on my 18 ram 1500. They were difficult to keep balanced at first, buy finally found a shop that could do it. I rotated them every 10k miles and got 55k miles out them. No issues in rain and live in Florida.
Living in the PNW, I was hesitant to buy them due to the wet performance reviews. I've had them for about a year now, and I've had zero issues with them in the rain. They've been a great tire
I have the 35's on my truck. Been a few years and never had an issue with them. I'm in FL so no snow to deal with but lots of rain.
On my second set of toyos had AT2 over 100k now on AT3 as they redesigned tread pattern Priced very good to compared to other brand I was quoted on when looking ie upto $450 a tyre these were $310 265/65/17 Prado 120
Just got the Toyo Open Country RT Trails in LT 315 70R 17. Replaced my well worn Toyo AT IIs. They’re on my ‘17 JKU with 4 inch lift. I can tell you I hear no discernible difference from the AT IIs which had very little road noise either. The RTs feel great and look even better. I’ve not had them in the dirt yet but on pavement they’re excellent. I love them.
I switched to 295/30 on 18x11 rt660s and the car was completely different. Very responsive and very good turn in.
Toyo’s will balance better, but are a softer tread compound and will wear/chip quicker. Been having good luck with the Wildpeak’s here in Texas.
AT3s should go the distance but a lot softer tire I noticed. Got about 50k on mine but I had cupping due to alignment so I replaced them with probably 30% left.
Nitto tires are horrible. Dont waste your money. They offer no warentes, they are not snow rated, they are just a terrible made in china over priced tire.
I have the crappy toyo tires and am actually shopping around for better tires.
