Tires Toyo or Tesla
i got the toyo open county’s on it and it runs so good in the rain, looks a liitttllee bit less rough than this but its still a nice tire
Toyo GSI-6 (non-studded) or G3-Ice (Available studded or non-studded) tires are the best bang for your buck you can get. I have had nothing but good experiences with them on multiple cars. They're also very quiet which is a huge plus on a snow tire for me.
Love my Toyo AT-3, I went away from E to C years ago they look good
I have the Toyo open country atiii on my ‘21 sport, and they handle the socal freeways pretty good for commuting and have been great in the rain we had recently. I did drop about 5-10mpg on ny mpg average.
22” Toyo Celsius A/S in urban New England; ~80% of my driving is short trips in city or light traffic. I got about 25k out of my last set.
TOYO CELCIUS SPORT 225/55R17 101V XL
not the standard answer but been really really happy with theseo
Mine are around 3.5/32 and 4.5/32 with 35k miles. Probably going to change them in a few thousands more.
But what about other maintenance costs, such as brakes and tires? Obviously EVs don’t have fluid changes. But don’t the tires cost more and wear out quicker on the Tesla due to the extra weight and power?
I got some Toyo Open Country AT3s and it didn't take long for me get a huge sidewall gash and I was even driving at reasonable slow speed on a fire road.
I also need new tires at 3 years and 28,000 miles because of excess wear on the inside of my tires. Get an alignment as soon as you get it.
