Just get some Uniroyal Rainsports, ime the best tyre for your money.
Even with the stock Toyos, this car handled like a champ.
Toyo AT 3’s for me 285/70-17 anything with 3 mountain snow peak will be better than factory.

I use Uniroyal tiger paw ice from Canadian tire, it’s good so far nice grip

2nd pic shows dry rot cracking. Odd for a new tire after 6,000mi. You could try warranty through Uniroyal.
I got some Toyo Open Country AT3s and it didn't take long for me get a huge sidewall gash and I was even driving at reasonable slow speed on a fire road.
Had Toyo A36’s on a Mazda CX-5 and they sucked ass in the rain.
