Tires Uniroyal or Achilles
I ended up getting an Uniroyal summer tire for it as it was considerably cheaper than the Conti. Anyway, from tests I gathered that it is supposed to be top tier in wet condition and mid at best in dry. I have used for over a year now as my situation changed and ended up keeping the Corolla for the time being. I used it around 15k km so far in wide variety conditions, from 0 Celsius up to 40 and so far have zero issues. There is no sign of wear and tear, thread is still deep, no dry rot and driving never felt unsafe or had any other issues.
Achilles 123S were a great 220 cheater 10 years ago, about as fast as an RS3?
Achilles ATR Sport’s were the old model now they have the ACHILLES STREETHAWK. $50 tires super grippy and long lasting
I’ve had these tires on my Subaru for the past five years and they’ve been great. 60k on them and still some life left.
The Tiger Paw is still one of the best designed SUV/Truck tires made, and it's been around for a long, long time. I run them on my SUVs. Love 'em.
Uniroyal has never let me down. Plus, it's the only brand that you can still get whitewalls from without specially ordering them, so, bonus
I had Tiger Paws on my old 2020 Trax and that car never budged in snow. It’s not even full time awd.
They lasted 18,000 miles on my 2015 Mazda 6 before I was down to the wires. I mean for the price you get a ..... tire. They are not horrible tires that will be unsafe or that will handle horribly, but they are budget tires that won’t last long and that are loud specially with age.
Not really the best tires around they don’t last long
They suck lol. They are loud, they hyrdoplane like a motherfucker, grooved pavement like overpasses makes them do this weird shimmy thing, and they wear quick. They cause the ABS to kick on super early, and lose traction fast.
