I usually end up with Gates or AC Delco.
Can't go wrong with a Gates pump.
My impression was (recommended by many) this specific seller had everything OEM, water pump was the correct Aisin one.
RockAuto Aisin with the logos ground off. That’s when you know it’s the real deal.
Aisin only. It's the Oem.
We used to install gates pump and belt kits, but saw too many leaking water pumps well before they were due for another belt. Switched to aisin kits and haven't had a problem.
Bought an Aisin waterpump off ebay and installed during the swap but it is making an awful racket and has me concerned it is a fake or otherwise defective out the box. Not sure how to share a video here but it sounds like a loud buzzing and i dont remember the old waterpump making that noise.
Gates waterpump broke in 2, the base is still mated to the block with all the bolts in-tact
Gates water pumps have been going downhill. I bought one for a Toyota Rav4 v6 and it started leaking after two months of service.
The new Gates water pump installed last month started leaking. I have only driven around 1000km. Does this happen a lot for Gates pumps?
