Unfortunately, as you can see from how much of it is parts, an OEM windshield is expensive on modern cars. It\u2019s usually worth it, as the third party windshields may not look different, but they often sound different, as Ford is increasing their use of acoustic glass

Safelite replaced it with genuine Ford OEM glass, complete with the 75th Anniversary badging on the glass. The guy that did my glass was an absolute pro, and I can't tell the difference between the original and replacement.

I had to replace mine after a rock chip turned into a crack on a snow trip. Used safelite and the came to my office and did exact OEM replacement and calibration. It actually came out better as my original had a giant Ford sticker lol.

I had my Flash windshield replaced. New one looks great and did not notice any noise increase.

I got my windshield repaired 2 weeks ago in switzerland and you can still see the dent, it looks like a small hole and the guy from Carglass said that its normal it stays like this, they dont replace the whole windshield when its a small dent, they repair it instead

Driving home from the dealership two dump trucks pulled onto the highway and threw rocks at me. Less than 1 hour.

The windshield cracked while the Bronco was parked! It just cracked spontaneously.

my Fusion daily driver got 3 chips with one forming a crack completely across the windshield, just got that one replaced a couple weeks ago for free.

The Bronco glass does seem to crack way easier than anything else I've owned. Keep in mind our weather temps in Canada can be a bit extreme though.
