Got a quote from an independent shop recommended by my detailer, total was around $2600 for parts and labor for ‘24 X5. It was OEM glass directly from BMW. They also calibrated. Job was done perfectly and had no issues.

My X3 windshield was like $2500 with BMW glass. Cheap aftermarket glass was only a few hundred dollars. I pushed my insurance to pay for the real deal.

The glass is not great, at least that’s been my experience for my M3. It’s gotten to the point that I’m getting too good at those repair kits.
