Windshield OEM Toyota or Tesla
You can't go wrong with the Model X. I drove one across the country, 12 to 14 hour days, and I wasn't the least bit stiff or sore.
The S is fun and also comfortable, but I really like the huge windshield on the X more.
We also got a crack on our windshield while traveling on a highway. Fortunately it was smaller than the size of a 10rs coin so i used the resin kit and fixed it
I’ve only had my MY about 4 months now but living in Arizona I’m use to going through a windshield once per year in each of my vehicles. Tesla replaced it for $0 with OEM, next day service, took about 3 hours.
I've also had 3 windshields on the car and am about to file a claim for a 4th due to an irreparable chip growing into a huge spiderweb over the last 9 months.
Between our model y and model 3, my wife and I replaced the windshields 6 times. Always a chip off the highway regardless of how much space we leave between us and the vehicles in front. It’s been a nightmare. The fact they are offering this now telling me that they know their windshield designs is flawed and this happens a lot despite being told otherwise by the service centers.
In the first three years I owned my car the windshield needed replacing three times. I paid $100 a month for the privilege of having a windshield
Windshield is insanely expensive and seems to crack/chip pretty easy
my M3 I had prior the windshield got cracked three separate times
their engineering quality threshold for windshields is dismal and below that of every other car maker. It’s actually embarrassing how bad it is.
I had my M3 windshield crack from freeway rocks 4 months after I bought the car.
