Windshield OEM Volkswagen or OEM Audi
Everything works as expected still, I swear it’s quieter on the highway now too and no leaks…obviously but look I was paranoid of anything less than a precise install.
Got OEM glass, no more distortion, much more quiet.
I had to replace on my RS3 and the windshield came from Germany straight from Audi. No issues and everything fine.
The windshield on our 21 Q5e cracked from a stone chip. Took it to Safelite down the road from our house. Insurance covered 100% and that included calibration. Everything works as it should--that was 6 months or so ago. Used oem glass.
I had some stuff done, added a couple of things, and washed my 2010 MK6 Golf TDI (manual) with 205K miles. New windshield - OEM VW from Safelite - replaced severely pitted original windshield after 200K+ miles It feels very good driving my clean car with the new bits!
Yep. Was especially noticeable on my 15 GTI. Less so on later models but all have it to some degree.
on windshield #2 after tractor kicked up gravel from side of highway. Was surprised as I never had that experience after driving many cars for decades.
I have gone through THREE windshields since January 2023! I tend to think that it’s the height angle of the windshield
I’ve had to replace 2 windshields, both times from rocks kicking up. I’ve had other vehicles for years and years and never had to replace a windshield. So maybe there’s just a higher percentage of bad luck when you own a Tiguan?
we just had to replace the windshield a couple months ago thanks to a small rock getting kicked up.
