I just bought and installled ICON Wipers on my B5. They not only work great, but also look nice.

Bosch icons FTW!!!! Seriously the BEST wipers ive ever had. Alittle pricey but they work great no matter what. Been about 6 months and they work as good as they did brand new.
The Bosch Micro Edge and Micro Edge Excel both work equally as well, but the excel last a while longer.
they do a real nice job as far as function and I havent seen or heard any chatter after about 2 months, just wish the pass. side fit better.
Man, I had them in Germany. Really, really GOOD wipers! Never chattered once, and I had to deal with tons of sticky Euro road salt...
I got some and installed them last week and I am completely amazaed at how good they work. Yep, easy to install and they look great.
OK. I got the Icons (size 21 and 19) and installed them the other day. Today was the first real rain since then and I am happy with the results. The wipers have an interesting installation bracket. Very well designed and easy to install. They do seem to stick up higher from the base of the windshield than stock, but not terrible. They seem to do a great job with rain although there still is a vertical line of sludge left on the windshield right in front of the driver's face from where the right wiper stops on its left-ward swing. Not thrilled about that.

You want to use Windex or so to remove. RainX does that. It doesn't like wiperblades. I had it done in a few cars and it hop or skip (chatter) when it's in use. So I stop using it.
