Wiper blades PIAA or rainx
IME buying OEM wiper blades is the way to go. They're cheaper and perform better than premium products like rain-x wiper blades.
PIAA, silicon blades. I’ve had mine for 1.5 years and so far they have lots of life left. I’ve read people getting 4+ years out of them.
Piaa makes the best blades i have ever used
PIAA silicone wiper blades. Silicone blades leave a thin layer that causes water to bead, similar to RainX.
I live north of Barrie and have been using rain-x blades for over 10 years. I find it's less about the blade itself and more about changing them out regularly. I recently put a set of rain-x quantums on a sportwagen and have been very happy with them so far.
Full silicone blades are best against UV degradation and typically don't wear out if you keep the windshield clean/polished. I typically buy the PIAA silicone.
PIAA in their Aero Vogue model. Best blades I have ever used. Follow their windshield prep process and use the wipes it comes with to get the best results. They are silicone blades and have a long life.
I like rainx latitude, not the cheaper ones. thThey last a long time and wipe evenly even in the desert so I haven't tried much else. They look like just one elongated curved stick don't mistake them for the same rainx brand but the value ones that look like a it has a mechanical web type thing on the arm. They do come with a silicone coating to repell water.
'15 Legacy. Manual says 17" blade on passenger side but so far every one I've tried misses part of windshield. It's the 4" in the center of the blade which is making me think the curvature isn't quite right. I'm using Rainx brand.
Got the same issue with mine. They never clicked with the large j hook. If you push them they easily came out. Bad design. One came off while my wife was driving. Very unsafe.
