Wiper blades rainx or OEM Volvo
My fave are the rainx ones. As long as your windshield is clean, they are very quiet
The Trax is the Chevy counterpart to the Buick Envista, and this really helped me finding wipers that were the most secure of all the ones I've tried so far.
I like the Rainx Silicone Advantage or their rugged brand. I have had the silicone ones for almost 3 years now and live in Phoenix, AZ. No issues with them at all.
I decided to try the Rain-X silicone wipers about two years ago on my ‘00 Cavalier that sits outside. Have not had to replace the wipers yet. As long as they are clean they don’t streak.
Instead of rubber wipers, try the silicone wipers. They are quieter and last longer (at least for me).
While the blades weren’t great, they were skipping across the windshield, especially in lighter rain. The tension was WAY off and after the tech adjusted it, I’ve been pretty solid the last 8 months. It works with the washer fluid or a car wash just fine.
Not any of the rain-x branded ones, I used to get them, they were over priced and never lasted very long.
As for wipers people seem to like Rain-X but I did not have a good experience with that. Those wipers have water repellent chemicals on them which are supposed to be good but I find cause streaking.
Don't buy Rain X wipers, they're garbage.
In my experience Bosch and Trico blades seem to have the best, being in parts sale I don't see those come back until the wiper is shredded but I've seen a lot of RainX come back because of quality issues
