Wiper blades Tesla or OEM Honda
I still have the same wipers since when I bought the car in 2020. They are made of some magic, it's unbelievable.
I’m in the Northeast and still using my original OEM wipers on my 22 MYP - just a bit over 36k miles and the wipers still work really well.
Your new car should absolutely come with OEM wiper blades that allow you to replace the rubber part.
You get the little blade rubber inserts for way dirt cheap, I think it's like 7 or 8 bucks per blade, maybe less depending on the size. It can be a little fiddly to get em in some times, but I think the actual wipers are pretty good quality, so it's worth it to me to keep the oem blades, and get the replacement rubber.
Mine are completely shot after a year, Honda's OEMs.
Had Tesla replace my wipers during a service visit for the same reason. They were horrible compared to my other cars. Obviously, replaced with the same garbage. So I thoroughly cleaned the windshield, which helped, but it seems once it gets grime on it, the wipers performance goes down.
Not a surprise considered how shit M3/Y wipers are. Not even the auto wipe which is atrocious but also all the wiper fluid gets shot out to the left and wasted and doesn’t actually clean and then the driver window gets streaks of fluid
You’ll look like a total idiot when the wiper blades turn on. Happens to me almost daily in my M3.
My Model Y wipers don’t clean the passenger side at the lowest and highest points in their sweep. They suck.
mine freeze up and to a terrible job.
The OEM wipers aren’t great but they’re easy to replace or maintain.
