Recently picked up my 2026 1LT, immediately had Michelin Alpin PA4's mounted. Lots of fun.
Reviews of spare parts for Chevrolet Corvette
My corvette was supposed to run 5w-30 but they changed it to 0w-40 at some time. I have that in bulk at work so it was a good change. My Prius is supposed to run only 0w-20 but if you read a non US owners manual you can run up to 10w-40 if it’s hot and you’re running the car hard. We go on trips out into the desert frequently where we’ll be pushing 80mph for hours in 100+ degree heat so it’s been getting 0w-30.
I went from those same tires to Michelin PS4s and I'm very happy with them. I have no issues in the rain.
I gotta say the factory Michelin PS AS 4 on non z51 c8s are actually incredible. I can't believe how well they hook up for an all season.
Having come from Michelin PS4 Summer - and Michelin PS4 AS before that.. I can firmly say I prefer the Conti DSS06 for AS.
Love my Raybestos ST43 on my Corvette for the track with 200 series tires. They can be a bit annoying on the street.
C4 TPI Corvettes are not slow, how did that sneak into the mix here? One other thing aside from 40 year old car warranty, the standard 255/50/16 tires are made by pretty much nobody now.
Right now I've got a set of Yok A052s on for autocross. They've served me well for that purpose, but everyone says not to run them on the track or that's the end of those tires. Given the wear I've seen just from one short season of autocross, I believe them.
Have firehawks on a C5, PS4 on a C4 GS. Both are fine for street driving. I certainly can push the C4 WAY harder but how hard you drive is a huge factor. The PS4 is also way susceptible to flat spotting if the car sits (mine do)
The original ones where blown at 60k miles. Going with Bilstein Sports.
