i have Billstein 4600's on my ranger and love them.
Reviews of spare parts for Ford
I just installed bilsteins all around and did my Sway bar mounts/links. My god the difference it made was ridiculous.
I am very happy with these shocks. Beating the crap out of them in a city that has potholes and roads that would swallow a Smartcar.
I had Bilsteins on my 2007 ranger when I bought it new from the dealer. I replaced them at around 93k miles, with more Bilsteins of course. I would recommend them if it is in your budget
Amazingly the 1.6 turbo in the Fiesta ST feels as if it has zero turbo lag and has a very nice torque curve. It really feels like a V6, not a turbo 4.
Koni yellows will improve the ride, it's a worthwhile upgrade.
I just want to add my 0.02$ on this, I recently bought my first Nokian tires every to put on our new Explorer and I can honestly say in the 3000km's we've driven in the last month that they are hands down the best winter tires I've ever experienced. Time will tell how much performance will be lost as they wear down and how long they will last but to date, color me very impressed. Mine are studded and the ice performance is outstanding fwiw.
I had the same issue with the oem windshield on my wife's 2014 Ford Escape. From the drivers side the blurr was so bad it made my head hurt.
Not knowing any better, I didn't specify an OEM windshield, and they installed one from Pilkington. It fit fine, and I didn't see any issues, other than not liking the shading/dot pattern around the rearview mirror as much. It was acoustic glass and it seemed to look (and sound) identical. However, my Ford dealer could not get the Lane Keeping Assist system to calibrate with it. It just wouldn't work properly, and they ended up deactivating it. Aftermarket windshield screws up Lane Keeping Assist!
I have those on my Mustang right now and they have no where near the performance of the outgoing P Zeros.
