The Boss 302 is unapologetically brash, loud, in your face, and a prime example of what an American car should be. The Recaro seats are absolutely awesome, as is the cueball shifter, and the Alcantara covered steering wheel. The weakest point of this package is the braking. With 4-piston Brembo calipers up front and 1 piston floaters in the back, the brakes are decent and will stop the car in a hurry but honestly I wish they had way more bite.
Reviews of spare parts for Ford
I believe those were what I had on a Mustang GT. I know they were Pirelli P Zeros but can't remember any more specifics. They were great tires. Had 30k miles on them when I traded in the car and they still had quite a bit of life left.
I replaced the alternator on my Windstar last month. Disconnect the wires, remove 3 bolts and lift it out. Takes like 10 minutes or less.
Akebono in particular seems to put out an OEM quality pad.
I just saw a sedan with this package and it looked like quite an upgrade compared to a regular Focus. Playing around with the configurator it doesn't seem like it is available on the hatch for some reason, but it really changed the character of the sedan. The tires are wide and it looks hunkered down with a restrained body kit.
I'm running Koni STR.T's with FRPP K springs on my mustang and have been happy with them overall - still do wish I spent a little more on the adjustable's but for the price I can't really say anything bad.
Ford PS pumps are noisy bastards regardless of year, source and fitment. I have NEVER been in a Ford that didn't have a noisy pump. Not even brand new ones. They last just fine despite the noise, the one on my '85 F150 is as far as I can tell the factory original and still works beautifully, but they're all noisy noisy.
i agree, i run falken rt-615 on my mustang, they are ok in the rain. old pavement when wet proves to be a little tricky at times.
As a competitive tire ? No. As a cheap learning/fun tire? yep. He complained about how soft the sidewalls where, even when over inflated at 45ish psi.
I had a set of Michelin hydroedge on my Mustang, they were awful. No traction in any condition, and dry-rotted similar to shown above, but not quite as bad. And only about 4 years old.
