Brembo Brake pads
galaxyuser
Rating 4.5
  • Braking:
  • Dust:

I have on my front axle the AP Racing CP7600 BBKs. Works like a charm especially with Brembo ceramic brake pads. Only downside is the rust-like brake dust that comes out of the ceramic pads, causing my black rims to look rusted when it isn't. Nothing a car wash can't solve.

Pros: works like a charm
Cons: rust-like brake dust
Vehicle: Honda Fit
Part number: CP7600

POWER STOP Brake pads

15k miles on powerstop “street sport” whatever pads with raybestos painted and coated rotors. Powerstop shoes and drums in the rear. All well so far, hardware appeared quality, pads have a little more bite than whatever was on it when I bought it.

Pros: good quality, better bite
Vehicle: Honda Fit
Mileage: 15000 km

POWER STOP Brake discs

I used to have both front rotors smoking after uphill runs lmao. I ended up getting some Powerstop slotted/drilled rotors and pads and then I overheated my brake fluid my first downhill run with them. Since I changed that its been braking fine and better than than stock imo

Pros: better than stock
Cons: overheated brake fluid
Vehicle: Honda Fit

OEM Honda Wheel hub

I've done all sorts of work on my fit this year, a wheel hub, ABS sensors. I was able to find OEM Honda parts and aftermarket versions for everything except the wiper linkage.

Pros: found OEM Honda parts
Cons: wiper linkage unavailable
Vehicle: Honda Fit

OEM Honda Starter motor

my 2015 Fit EX seems to be having the same problem on about the same timeline. Got the starter replaced maybe 4-6 years ago (also, starter replaced on a 3-4 year old car? Sheesh) and just this morning, lots of clicking and dash lights come on but no engine turnover.

Cons: lots of clicking
Vehicle: Honda Fit
Mileage: 90123 km
