I have Powerstop with carbon ceramic pads. I absolutely love them and they’re much better than my stock brakes. Whatever brakes you do get make sure you break them in.
Reviews of spare parts for Infiniti Q50
The little non sport Akebono calipers on q50’s are know for warping the OEM rotors. I went through 2 sets of OEM and kept getting the vibration when braking from highway speed before eventually buying some shtty Chinese “drilled and slotted” aftermarket’s. Never had the issue since.
I’ve been running Toyo Extensa hp2 on my Q 50 with 450 hp for about 3 years now and I’ve gone through two sets. They’re fucking incredible. I love them they grip they rip and they look good, great with the snow where I live and the wet and perfect for carving up on dry afternoons on back roads.
My tuner had me using Liqui Moly Leichtlauf High Tech SAE 5W-40 for the VR30 motor. Granted, mine was in a Q50, but that thing ran tops on Liqui moly.
Ran these for four years on the redsport better then the stock Akebono. Only changed the pads once
I swear by the rainx latitude blades for all my cars. Never had a problem and my windshield repels water so well that I hardly have to use the wipers when it rains
I havent had an issue with them in 2 years.
2018 Luxe AWD with the base brakes running Power Stop Z26 Street Warrior drilled & slotted rotors with full ceramic pads. Got it all from RockAuto.
Also dont use plugs for tuned cars if youre not tuned. Tuned cars run colder plugs. They are not the same dont listen to some of these comments lol
Yes. Whatever craptastic run flat, I think Dunlops? that came on the Infiniti. I lasted about 8 months and 8K miles, being very liberal with throttle input, to justify to myself trashing them and replacing them with Michelin PS.
