I recently replaced mine on a 21 Cherokee trailhawk with a set of BF Goodrich Trail Terrain all weather. Seem great so far and usable in any conditions (Southern Ontario).
Reviews of spare parts for Jeep Cherokee
I got the ACDelco starter from rock auto. I think it was like 60 bucks. No issues
I'm kind of shocked and especially reading all the comments, because my Jeep Cherokee has been the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. I've had Ford, Kia, Nissan, and all of them weren't build solidly at all.
I put Falken aggressive tred on brand new with brand new knock off Alcoa once they were balanced correctly perfect
Power Stop stuff is amazing, I am super impressed with their pads material. Zero brake dust and stop on a dime.
Owned and drove a 2016 and put 120k miles on it. I only spent money on tires oil changes and wiper blades. I never even replaced the air filter. I bought a 2021 and currently have 70k miles. Same story. Oil changes, wiper blades and tires. I did replace the air filter on this once because it was on sale.
4600s at stock height was the best my jeep every drove. Moved to 3” lift with 5100s. Honestly considering going back to stock on my next XJ
I have 5100’s on my XJ & they are definitely an improvement. Stiffer on road & great off-road, definitely an upgrade over stock or rough country I previously had.
They added an extra battery for the start stop feature, which can be turned off, to help preserve the main battery draw. That is the biggest issue on the jeep. Talking a new battery every two years.
A family friend bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee hybrid about 2 years ago and had loads of problems with the battery. Finally the dealer said to replace the whole battery but it turns out they don't make replacement batteries for that model anymore. They ended up being unable to fix it and gave a big discount for a new model so they effectively traded up. The whole ordeal took over a year.
