I use Mobil 1 synthetic 0w20 with Mobil1 M1-209 screw-on filter for the 2012. I've been doing this for these cars since they were new. We don't put too many miles/year on these cars and so I change the oil every fall and every spring. Never had a problem.

Lo and behold, a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 appeared before me... With 263 ponies and 280 ft/pounds of I could dead, the MS3 has proven itself to be the best possible car that a 23 year old male could own.
