My 12 of this generation is at 222k miles with just oil changes and tires as well. One set of pads and rotors at 175k and still had life left.
Reviews of spare parts for Mazda
if you buy oil from Walmart, 5qt of mobil 1 or similar is well under $30. i buy the Mazda OEM filter/washer combos in a pack of 5 for like $6 per filter. so my oil change is around $34 (plus $10 for a bottle of techron) and i know i didn’t fuck it up.
In 2021 am achizitionat o baterie de pe autokarma si inca o folosesc si merge probleme. In cazul meu, am achizitionat o baterie Exide(auto stop EFB 60AH- approx 430 lei), pentru o Mazda 3 benzina.
I use Ctek battery chargers. Automatic shut off when full. Get one with a reconditioning function & winter mode.
Personally I use power stop pads and rotors even beyond Mazdas all my cars have power stop brake components.
Just had goodyear assurance weather ready 2s installed on my cx5. After using for a week in mild snow and ice I have found the traction outstanding. I think they are a firmer ride but next to insignificant. I would highly recommend them even from the short time I've used them. I was seriously surprised by the winter traction.
Ran the brand in my old 93 MX6 V6. No issues with the parts.
My 22 Turbo came with Laufenn tires. I never heard of them, it’s a Hankook brand.
Torque converter AND transmission failure. Known Mazda issue too. Will run me $3000-$10,000 depending if I replace both. At this point I’m pretty sure my car is only worth $15k. Cost of repairs is/will be more than it’s worth.
My 2017 CX-9 and it has a coolant leak from the back of the block by the manifold and the shop I took it to said to take it to a dealer.
