Michelin Defenders... I went from aggressive tread, to Falken Wildpeaks to the sensible Michelins. Better ride, better fuel economy.
Reviews of spare parts for Toyota
I’ll do the 15k oil change soon with Toyota OEM 0w-16, which is made by M1 but has a much higher moly content than the regular retail M1 oil.
I ran 265/70/17 Wildpeaks on my stock 2018 for years and had no major issues with them. They are a bit heavy and my personal experience was they did not balance the best, but maybe that was addressed with the AT4s.
I have a Corolla Cross and use Bridgestone Blizzak. Absolutely unstoppable in deep snow! Been recommending and using Bridgestone Blizzak tires for as long as I can remember. There’s not a better winter tire on the market.
Continental DSW06 and never look back good in the summer amazing in the snow
I put TOYO Observe G3-Ice on my Tacoma last winter. I live in the middle of nowhere on the other side of the country and they were great.
We get snow here (and it’s a bit hilly) so I went with the Michelin CrossClimate 2’s. They’ve been great for two seasons so far. My only gripe is how light the steering feels, but the car is still a joy to drive.
Biggest dramas i've had is one bent tie rod and ripped the boot on the CV's a few times, always when i've hit a rut being silly.
I have never had replace a windshield in any my 8 other cars in my 21 years of driving, and my last car was even a wrangler. I have had 4 cracks in my 4R, replaced it twice, and is currently cracked again, in 3 years!! I love this car but Toyota effed up on the windshields.
I’m on windshield #4 on my 2018
