My 1996 Toyota Camry wasn’t produced with one, but there’s a spot for one… Popped in one for a 1996 Lexus ES300, and the difference is certainly noticeable; quite literally is easier to breathe! Plus, I don’t have to dust my cabin as often.
Reviews of spare parts for Toyota Camry
It varies/depends. There are some cheap replacement windshields out there, but in my case, I found one who uses Pilkington glass for my Camry (the OEM supplier), came in at less than half the dealer’s quote, and looks identical to the glass that was on before.
I have a 2003 Camry with 220k miles on it. My front cat was throwing a P0420 code (what the hell has it been smoking??) for the better part of the year and I finally changed it last month because my emissions inspection was due.
It cost me about $975 installed, but the most shocking thing to me was that my overall gas mileage went from 25 to 30.
I prefer peak brand 50/50 premixed. The pink or red Asian import coolant is the only thing I would ever put in my toyota or Scion. It's the same stuff that comes in them from the factory with hybrid organic acid technology (HOAT). Coolant not only keeps your car from freezing in the winter, it has corrosion inhibitors to keep your engine healthy.
An excellent High Performance all season
I've had two sets on my Camry
Got the pro contacts and they are really nice. Continental makes some good tires
Excellent choice, I swear by these. Threw on a set last year and can't complain one bit.
Valvoline oil is good I wouldn't suggest full synthetic it's just a rip off you can get high mileage oil that you can drive for 5,000 or 7,500 miles between oil changes.
Don't even think the Autolite or Bosch last as long as Denso/NGK spark plugs.
Don't use Bosch on 90s Toyotas.
